What is Shift?
Shift is an app that connects companies with part-time talent in Oman. You can view profiles, watch intro videos, and create jobs to hire instantly or schedule interviews.
How do I create a job?
Creating a job on Shift takes less than a minute:
1. Tap Create Job
2. Enter job details (role, location, schedule)
3. Choose hiring type: Instant Hire or Interview First
4. Publish your job
Your job will immediately be visible to relevant candidates.
How quickly can I hire someone?
You can hire within minutes using Instant Hire or schedule an interview right away.
What is the difference between Instant Hire and Interview First?
Instant Hire allows you to hire directly from profiles without interviews. Interview First allows you to review candidates and interview before hiring.
Are candidates verified?
Yes. All candidates go through a structured onboarding process before appearing on Shift
What kind of roles can I hire for?
Shift is designed for part-time roles.
Can I find staff for urgent or last-minute needs?
Yes. Shift is built for urgent hiring including weekends, events, and peak seasons.
Is Shift free to use?
Shift is free to join and explore candidates. You only pay when you find a match and start hiring through the platform.
How does payment work on Shift?
Shift uses a credit-based or subscription model depending on your plan.
Once you confirm a match or hire, credit is deducted.
If you run out of credit, you can purchase more or upgrade your plan at any time.
Can I use Shift to hire full-time employees?
Yes. You may hire a candidate found on Shift as a full-time employee. However, you must notify Shift of the full-time hire. A one-time fee of OMR 50 applies per full-time hire. Failure to notify may result in account suspension.
Can I message candidates through the app?
Messaging becomes available only after a match is confirmed or an interview is scheduled and confirmed.
Can I post a job for an event?
Yes. You can post jobs for events such as exhibitions, festivals, or temporary locations by selecting an external location when creating your job.
What if I need help?
