What is Shift for job seekers?
Shift helps you find part-time and flexible jobs in Oman. You can create a profile, and companies can hire you or schedule interviews with you through the app.
Is Shift an employer?
No. Shift only connects you with companies hiring. Any job offers, payments, or work terms come directly from the employer.
How does Shift work?
You download the app, complete your profile, and apply for jobs. Employers can also view your profile and hire you directly or invite you for an interview.
Do I need to upload a video on Shift?
Yes. Every profile on Shift requires a short introduction video.
After completing your profile, you will need to schedule a time to record your video with our team. Once completed, your profile will be published and visible to employers.
How do I apply for jobs?
You can browse available jobs in the app and apply directly. Some employers may also hire you instantly after reviewing your profile.
Can I update my profile?
Yes. You can edit your profile anytime from the app.
Is Shift free for job seekers?
Yes. Shift is completely free for job seekers.
What is the Activity Score?
It reflects how active and responsive you are on Shift, based on your applications, interviews attended, and overall engagement. A higher score increases your profile visibility and exposure to companies.
What happens if I miss a job or interview?
Missing confirmed jobs or interviews may affect your Activity Score and profile visibility. If you miss a job or interview without informing the employer in advance, you will receive a strike. If you inform the employer beforehand, no strike will be given.
What kind of jobs can I find on Shift?
Part-time and flexible roles, especially in retail, hospitality, events, exhibitions and customer service.
Can I create more than one account on Shift?
No. Only one account per person is allowed. Duplicate accounts will be removed.
